Throughout Term 3, the Art department ran a series of optional Art challenges for Year 7 – an illuminated letter design about their personal identity, a creative photograph celebrating the work of the NHS, and the googly eye challenge. The students produced some fantastic work – it is lovely to see how creative they are being whilst at home!
During lockdown, we challenged students and staff to a photography competition. The brief was to document the experience of a week in lockdown – from rainbows in windows and star-jumps on balconies, to explorations of your local area.
We had some amazing entries, but the winner was Christopher Wardell, Year 10, with his beautifully creative photographs of nature.

Here is a great selection of some of the work our Year 12 Art, Graphics, and Photography students have produced during lockdown. Well done all!

We (the Art faculty) thought it would be a good idea to share some of the amazing work our KS3 students have been sending in from home during this lockdown period.
Being creative can be a wonderful way to relax and help our wellbeing during this uncertain time; take some inspiration from the work below.
